I'm a hairstylist who believes that good energy and clear communication is the answer to great hair. 

You know the feeling, right? You're going to a party with some people you don't really know and you're hoping you don't say anything weird by accident. I used to feel this way with the other stylists that I worked with, and sometimes with new clients too. I was always trying to be "normal." (LOL) I've never been good at lying, so pretending to be someone I'm not really doesn't work.

I've been a stylist for 10 years, and I've worked at a few different places. Nothing ever felt "right." I never really fit in. I always wanted to do things differently, and other stylists don't always like change. A lot of stylists get sucked into the belief that they have to be able to do everything clients ask for. I don't think I can be great at anything if I can do everything. Allowing myself to lean into what makes me different has been the best decision I've ever made. No, I'm not your average stylist. I'm a bit woo-woo, and I will gladly send you to another stylist if what you're looking for isn't what I specialize in.
I know what I'm good at, and I'd love for you to experience what it's like to sit in my chair.

I was thinking, "I'm a good hairstylist, but I don't know if I can work in a salon anymore." So, I decided to take a big leap. I opened my own salon suite. Now, we can be as weird as we want during your appointments, and we don't have to worry a single bit about whether anyone will judge us for it. We can snort-laugh together, and talk about things that other people might think is a little weird. I am a bit weird. I'm an artist, after all.

Why not get the hair style you've always wanted to try? Do it. You're safe here with me. Don't worry so much about whether people will like your new style. They will. If you're confident and happy, you can pull off whatever you want. This is what I'm good at. Let's see what confidence looks like on you. I'm loving it on myself, and I want you to feel this way too.

Having my own space to work in has changed how I see my life, and what I can do with it now. I feel so free to be myself! I adopted a black cat, because I've always loved them. I've gotten a few more tattoos and a haircut with bangs, because I wanted to, and I don't have to worry about looking like I don't fit in at the salon anymore. Do you want to know how many people have told me that I look like I was born to have bangs since I've had them? A lot. Seriously. Have you thought about getting bangs? Maybe you've always wanted to try out a copper color in your hair, or you've been noticing people let their hair go natural and you're wishing you could do it too. Why not?  Really. Think about it.
